Privacy policy
2026-10-02This policy explains how Thaqiba (thaqiba.com) collects, uses and protects data. Thaqiba is a service for monitoring and replying to Google reviews of businesses.
Data we collect
- Account data: company name, sector, users' names and e-mail addresses, and a hashed password (we never store the password itself).
- Google Business Profile data, after you approve on Google's consent screen: the accounts and locations you manage (name, address, map position), the reviews of those locations (reviewer public name and photo, rating, text, date, reply), and the e-mail of the connected Google account.
- Telegram: chat id and title when you link a chat to your company, to deliver alerts.
- Technical data: operational logs needed for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
- To show reviews and analytics to your own company's team only.
- To send new-review alerts and reports to the Telegram chats you linked.
- To publish replies on Google that an authorized user of your company wrote or selected. We never post anything on our own.
Google user data (Limited Use)
Thaqiba's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular:
- We use Google data only to provide and improve the user-facing features of Thaqiba.
- We do not sell Google data or transfer it to third parties, except as necessary to run the service (such as hosting) or as required by law.
- We do not use it for advertising, credit-worthiness, or to train general-purpose AI models.
- No human reads Google data unless you agree (for example, a support request), for security purposes, or as required by law.
Website statistics
We count visits to the public pages to learn how many people visit, from which country or city and from which website. We use no tracking cookies or third-party tools and do not store IP addresses: we derive the approximate country and city, then keep a hashed code that changes every day.
Security and storage
Google access tokens are stored encrypted. The platform is served over HTTPS and data access is limited to your company's users according to their role.
Deletion and disconnecting
You can disconnect Google at any time from the "Google" page in Thaqiba or from your Google account settings. Access tokens are deleted immediately on disconnect. To delete all of your company's data permanently, e-mail support@thaqiba.com; we complete requests within 30 days.
